This project involved a complete gut renovation of the former Verona Elementary School, originally constructed in the 1950’s and in use until 2017. The facility features an open-school campus layout, consisting of multiple detached pods connected by exterior walkways.

Harman’s scope of work included the full renovation of four pods – the Administration Pod, Pod 1, Pod 2, and Pod 3 – totaling nearly 25, 000 square feet of renovated space. The project required the installation of all new MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) systems throughout the renovated areas. Due to the site layout and campus-style configuration, Harman determined early in the process that the project would be most efficiently executed by renovating the pods sequentially, rather than performing demolition and renovation across all pods simultaneously.
