Sunnyside Wellness Center

Harman Construction provided General Contracting services for the new Wellness Center at Sunnyside Retirement Community. Centrally located on Sunnyside’s campus, this 12,000-square-foot, one-story facility was designed to promote health, wellness, and community engagement.

The Wellness Center features an open fitness room equipped with state-of-the-art exercise equipment, a dedicated group fitness room, an indoor walking track, a 60-foot lap pool, spa tub, and locker rooms for men, women, and families. The building also includes staff offices and a welcoming reception area to enhance the overall user experience.

Structurally, the facility showcases open, sloping glulam wood beams that are highly durable, moisture-resistant, and contribute to a warm, spacious atmosphere. Exterior finishes include a standing seam metal roof, HardiePlank® and HardieShingle® siding, and faux stone veneer, creating a timeless aesthetic that complements the surrounding campus.
